Too large! 04/09/2009

Too large for the corner proposed. 800 High itself is too large and this is 11% higher. Construction costs are down now. Trim this building to fit Palo Alto.

Reduce the size 04/01/2009

I ask the City of Palo to substantially reduce the proposed size of the 801 Alma Street mixed use retail housing Project.

Wrong location 04/01/2009

There is already a very large number of low income units in the immediate are. This would make the density unhealthy. Research has shown how important it is to spread out law income units. This is not the right place.

50% bigger, too high, far under parked and much too costly.

PC (Planned community) zoning should be eliminated in Palo Alto, and not granted to this project (or any others). The public benefits are not there. All current zoning laws, and the much worked-on SOFA-2 plan, should be upheld

Parking problem 04/01/2009

Parking is already horrible in this area. traffic patterns are bad enough now, the last thing this area needs is 2 way traffic for 1 or 2 blocks. As Palo Alto residents, these continious projects in this neighborhood are just bad for the city.

Building size TOO BIG; Parking HORRIBLE AS IS; Traffic BAD AS IS. Concerned also about school crowding w/more housing for families.
