Too large! 04/09/2009

Too large for the corner proposed. 800 High itself is too large and this is 11% higher. Construction costs are down now. Trim this building to fit Palo Alto.

Density too high 04/06/2009

Density is much too high

4/6/2009 11:29:41 D. K. Channing Avenue

50% bigger, too high, far under parked and much too costly.

Wrong location 04/01/2009

There is already a very large number of low income units in the immediate are. This would make the density unhealthy. Research has shown how important it is to spread out law income units. This is not the right place.

Too big 04/01/2009

Reduce the size 04/01/2009

I ask the City of Palo to substantially reduce the proposed size of the 801 Alma Street mixed use retail housing Project.

Too big! 03/31/2009

The large size of this development does not appear in keeping with the character of the neighborhood, nor do our streets and parking appear able to sustain the increased traffic and parking.

There is already so much high density development along the Channing street area in downtown Why isn't this activity distributed more evenly across the city? Why not build this off California Ave for instance?

Too big! 03/30/2009

800 High Street is MASSIVE. We need to build housing that is more appropriate for the neighborhood. We shouldn't feel compelled to just pack people in like sardines in the name of more housing. Please don't make this neighborhood look like the urban projects.

Dear Planning Commission Memeber, We had an agreement under SOFA to limit building size, please honor it and keep this project within that agreed upon envelope.
