No Seniors any more? 03/21/2009
Radical change in plans from what was discussed originally (50 units of senior housing on the substation property) Using the narrow alley as "street separation" is unacceptable. 5 story building is essentially being build right up against 1.5 Million dollar condo units. Building's units have seen a significant decrease in value because of this project. 3/21/2009 14:31:16 S.H. High Street Congestion Ramp 03/13/2009
Too much congestion of cars, especially coming and going at business hours, also too many people for this area of town. Very bad location for school children....buses and certainly no play area space. Why not a good senior's residence? That would take care of many of the above. 3/13/2009 16:04:09 K.D. 800 high I am very much supportive of affordable housing in Palo Alto and all other cities in the Bay Area. However, this parcel at 801 Alma should only be for senior affordable housing, not families and children. Alma is not a suitable place for children to play, either is the roof of a four story building! The addition of families makes the entire project too dense for the size of the property. There is simply not enough room for the open space that should be included for children and parents. 3/13/2009 8:24:10 A.C. 800 Hight Street Seniors would be perfect 03/11/2009
Traffic problems very bad. A senior residence would seem perfect. Terrible problems for school buses. Major problems for numbers of people in that area. 3/11/2009 19:39:29 G.D. 800 High |
