Building size agreement 03/30/2009
Dear Planning Commission Memeber, We had an agreement under SOFA to limit building size, please honor it and keep this project within that agreed upon envelope. 3/30/2009 7:58:08 J. B. High Street Too many children for the schools 03/30/2009
Not enough room in downtown schools to accommodate that many new children. It must be scaled back. 3/30/2009 22:12:45 S. H. poe No exceptions! 03/30/2009
Save our neighborhood! I have been repeatedly disappointed in the Planning Department allowing developers exceptions and variances, so they can build overly tall, overly populated buildings. Adding low income housing does not mean it is always best for the city. Having green practices in the new building does not always cut energy consumption- I have yet to see one of these new developments that are using less water and energy than the building they are replacing. Please slow the multiple housing growth in downtown Palo Alto, you have already taken all our parking in front of our homes and forced Addison to lose precious play space to portables. 3/30/2009 21:33:47 M.B. Lincoln Ave Safety 03/29/2009
Concerned about the safety of my employees + customers, especially in the lane behind 800 High Condos 3/29/2009 1:08:51 J. Y. Homer Avenue Congestion and noise 03/29/2009
1. This will dramatically reduce the natural light entering the west side of the building. The outdoor hallways will always be dark. 2. Why would the city want to make this particular block so congested? 3. The unevitable construction noise is unjustifiable and the neighbors should in some way be compensated for this inconvenience if it is to take place. If not, I would ask to switch residences with the mayor of Palo Alto or other Palo Alto legislators during the time of the construction. 3/29/2009 21:34:54 S. S. High St. 800 High residents 03/29/2009
Has anyone who is a decision maker for this really thought about this from the standpoint from someone who lives at 800 High? While one might be able to conjure up reasons to have this project, you need to seriously think about how this affects the current residents of 800 High. Clearly no one is watching out for our interests. 3/29/2009 21:42:20 N. R. High St Schools....... 03/29/2009
Schools for 75 children! 3/29/2009 0:01:39 J. L. Edgewood Drive Building size and parking 03/28/2009
The building has to be kept to the original agreement, the codes, and the original height. Also, concerning parking, Emerson Street and Addison Avenue, in all directions from their intersection, are already totally full of parked cars every week-day. 3/28/2009 14:16:54 D. E. Addison Too large! 03/28/2009
I strongly support low income housing but not this large and one condition for housing 75 children 3/28/2009 23:48:46 E. D. High Street High density projects in Palo Alto! 03/28/2009
Stop building so many high density projects in Palo Alto! 3/28/2009 10:46:18 P.W. El Camino Real |
